The EB-5 Regional Center program is currently authorized through September 30, 2027. If Congress does not reauthorize it by that date, the program could temporarily sunset.

While past lapses have been resolved through extensions, they often create uncertainty and delays. For investors, uncertainty can impact processing timelines and project execution.

Filing well before the sunset date helps avoid being caught in potential legislative delays.
